John Sheldon "No Brakes"
Produced by Crit Harmon

For a while there, it looked like John Sheldon was actually starting to slow down. Considering that the singer/guitarist has played/toured with everyone from Van Morrison to Linda Ronstadt since the age of 17, it's certainly understandable why the now-father of two would prefer to spend time at his Western Mass. farmhouse with his family.

...it seems that crooner James Taylor heard a couple of Sheldon's more recent compositions. And darned if the acclaimed singer/songwriter hasn't recorded and released two of them in the past two years.

"Yeah, first was 'September Grass' from the platinum-selling October Road , then 'Bittersweet' on The Best Of James Taylor ," Sheldon explains. "It was great fun, and I actually played guitar on both the songs."

Fueled by the high profile, Sheldon says he went to record a new disc of his own, No Brakes, and is also hitting the live circuit again.
